Upon arrival in Xiamen, transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Note: If arriving in Xiamen in the afternoon, guests may enjoy free time for shopping at SM City Xiamen.
Zhangzhou – Visit Zhangzhou Ancient City and Ming & Qing Dynasty Ancient Street. Continue to Shantou – Visit Yufeng Remittance Office, featured in A Letter to Grandma; explore Shantou Small Park, another filming location from the movie; tour Chen Cihong Residence with an Yingge Dance performance (2:30 PM); visit Zhanglin Ancient Port (Nanyang Wharf), the film's ending scene; and stop at Mazu Islet.
Shantou – Visit Longhu Ancient Village, the filming location for the Thailand street scenes in A Letter to Grandma; explore the Thai Buddhist Hall; and enjoy a Teochew Opera Tea House. Continue to Chaozhou – Stroll along Paifang Street and admire the ancient city's night view (around 8:00 PM).
Chaozhou – Visit Chaozhou Ancient City (including electric shuttle service), Guangji City Gate Tower, and Guangji Bridge (walk across the bridge). Continue to Xiamen – Visit Jimei School Village, Dragon Boat Pool, Guilai Hall, Tan Kah Kee’s Former Residence, and Shili Longdi (Ten-Mile Causeway).
Xiamen – Visit the Millennium-old Nanputuo Temple, Mountain-Sea Health Trail, and Gulangyu Island (including island audio guide/headset). Explore the World Architecture Exhibition Area, Longtou Road Commercial Street, and Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport at the appropriate time for your return flight.
